Real estate investing can be a very rewarding an challenging career or part time job. Buying any piece of property is an investment. Like any investment, a profit is not always achieved. Buying a home to live in is an investment of itself and many financial advisors will tell you it is possibly one of the best investments you can make. For those who like a little more risk, there can be an even greater reward than simple appreciation.

Most people have either rented a house with someone or rented a room in a house from someone. All real property must have some owner, somewhere. That owner is taking a calculated risk in purchasing the home and then either renting rooms or the whole house. That owner is receiving a reward for their risk in the form of regular monthly income which, if they did it right, pay the mortgage and leave a profit. Additionally, the owner will benefit in the long term from appreciation.

There is another type of investor that is becoming more common in the current market-the fix and flip investor. This type of investor buys a home and makes repairs, performs upgrades and sells the home for a profit. Normally not interested in being a landlord, the fix and flip investor depends a lot on us to find a home that can be purchase, repaired and then sold in a timely manner and for an acceptable profit. We are not going to tell you our secrets but we will say there is a lot of money to be made!

We are able to provide our clients with assistance in finding the proper loan, handyman or general contractor. We do the work of finding the property initially and selling it later. Everything in-between is the investor's concern.

Possibly one of the most important aspects of our investor services is that we know what to look for as we have been investors ourselves! We still have rental property but we do not fix and flip. Sure, we have the knowledge, the contacts and a definite advantage with our access to properties. We also feel that we cannot properly service our investor clients by competing with them. By not competing, we are able to honestly commit our knowledge and abilities to help you, the investor, become a more successful investor.

When we meet, we will discuss our methods, services, terms and agreements. Not every investor hires us, nor do we choose to represent every investor. For an investor/agent relationship to work, it must be mutual beneficial and both parties must be able to trust each other. Together, we will make more money!
